  1. How do I calculate in-kind contributions for the budget?

    Annex C in the CPRC Call for Proposals Applicants Guidebook (HTML |PDF, 696 KB) explains the definition of in-kind funds.

  2. Where do I find partners?

    It is required to have at least one Canadian first responder partner (police, fire, emergency medical services agency).

    Those interested in submitting a Project Proposal Application may contact CPRC (e-mail to cprc-ccrp@drdc-rddc.gc.ca) and receive guidance from a CPRC Project Manager to assist in meeting process requirements and to assist in identifying suitable project partners.

  3. Where can I get further clarification about the Call for Proposals?

    The website section CPRC Call for Proposals and the CPRC Call for Proposals Applicants Guidebook (HTML |PDF, 696 KB) are the best sources of information for preparing your proposal; however, you can contact CRTI for guidance at: cprc-ccrp@drdc-rddc.gc.ca.

  4. What are the limits to the number of proposals I can submit?

    A lead applicant is restricted to two submissions per call.

  5. How do I get feedback on the proposal results? How will I be advised of the status of my proposal?

    The CPRC will provide Project Applicants with a report of their Project Proposal Application review results following completion of the selection process and the public announcement of approved proposals. It will be the responsibility of Project Applicants to inform the remaining project partners of the results.Project Applicants will receive one of the following messages:

    • The project application did not meet the mandatory criteria;
    • The Project did not achieve the minimum score.

  6. How can I be sure my proposal was received?

    Be sure to check the address prior to the closing date; you can send a test e-mail, and finally use your e-mail options to receive confirmation on delivery for your e-mail. Each proposal will receive a confirmation of receipt within 24 hours, but applicants must note that it is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure submission of their proposal by the cut-off date and time.
