Steps to Apply for Funding

Step 1:

Review Centre for Security Science (CSS) list of current Call for proposals.

Step 2:

Review the scope and priorities for this call for proposals. CPRC Guidebook (HTML |PDF, 696 KB) (Appendix B)

Step 3:

Determine if you are eligible to submit a proposal.

Important

Projects that address the specified priorities will receive first consideration.

Each proposal seeking CPRC investment must meet the following mandatory requirements:

Relevance: Submissions must demonstrate relevance to the CPRC’s mandate and investment priorities and identified gaps. Failure to clearly demonstrate the proposal’s relevance will result in the proposal’s rejection.

Duration: The proposal project duration must not exceed 36 months.

Partnerships: Project Proposal Applications must include participation of at least one Canadian first responder partner (police, fire, emergency medical services agency)

Canadian Content: Completion of Canadian Content Certification must be included – section 8.0 Project Proposal Application form.

Important

The following will also result in the rejection of a proposal without further consideration:

Failure to use the project proposal application form

Submitting an incomplete application

Failure to meet the stipulated Call for Proposal closing date.

Review the Program Application to be aware of the specific conditions you are required to follow should you receive funding.
